About us

At Allsorts Youth Project, we are on a mission to make sure every LGBTQ+ child in Sussex has the chance to make friends, build community & feel proud of who they are. We want parents & carers to know they are not alone & feel confident supporting thier children. We want every adult in a LGBTQ+ child’s life - from their teacher to their GP - to be safe & welcoming. Our vision is of a world where LGBTQ+ children & young people can be themselves and enjoy their lives.

 

Rainbow Run

The Rainbow Run is a 5km charity run around Hove Park the night before Brighton Pride, where ticket proceeds go directly towards local LGBTQ+ causes. The run is organised by Brighton & Hove Front Runners. Each year see's around 500 runners take part, many of whom brightly dress up in the spirit of Pride, and last year as the key chosen charity, the Rainbow Run raised an incredible £8000 for Allsorts!

This year, we go again! We have a number of generous individuals coragously running for Allsorts to support our vital services for LGBTQ+ children, young people and their families across Sussex. Please consider taking part or donating if you can, as your donation could make all the difference to a local LGBTQ+ young person and their family.
 

£10 Could provide a young person with the train fare they need to come to a safe, welcoming Allsorts youth group

£20 Could provide a young person with a one-to-one session with an Allsorts worker who really listens

£40 Could fund an Allsorts youth group, where young people can make friends and build confidence
